Stamped concrete three-tier patio with stone-pattern finish in San Diego
25+
Year Lifespan

Every texture and pattern, poured by one crew.

Pick the look — slate, flagstone, cobblestone, plank, ashlar — and we'll match it with the right pattern, color hardener and antiquing release agent. All done on a single, jointless slab.

Stone & Slate Patterns

Random ashlar, European fan, Italian slate and natural fieldstone — the most popular looks for patios and pool decks.

Cobblestone & Brick

Old-world cobble, soldier-course brick, herringbone and running bond — perfect for driveways, walkways and entry approaches.

Wood-Plank Concrete

The look of weathered planks or barn wood without the rot, splinters or termites. Built for warm, modern outdoor spaces.

Custom Borders & Bands

Soldier-course borders, picture-frame bands, medallion accents and inlay strips that frame the field and add scale to large pours.

Integral Color & Stains

Integral color in the mix, color hardener on the surface, and acid or water-based stains for depth and dimension.

Sealing & Anti-Slip

UV-stable sealer that locks color in, repels stains and adds non-slip grit for pool decks and high-traffic surfaces.

A premium look — without the paver upkeep.

Stamped concrete is one continuous, jointless slab. No weeding between pavers, no shifting stones, no wobbly pieces. Just a solid surface that looks like high-end material for less.

01

Costs less than pavers or stone

You get the look of natural stone or brick for a meaningfully lower installed price. We'll walk through both options on your free estimate.

02

No joints, no weeds

A single poured slab means nothing to grow between, nothing to lift or settle, and nothing to re-sand every spring.

03

Built for the San Diego sun

UV-stable color, integral hardener and proper sealer keep the finish vibrant for decades — even in coastal salt air and inland heat.

04

25+ year lifespan

Properly poured, jointed and sealed stamped concrete easily lasts 25 years or more. A reseal every 2–3 years keeps it looking like the day we left.

"John was consultative from the very beginning with a number of great suggestions that improved our overall design. He was very flexible in providing options for finish and design elements, and his team adapted very quickly to changes during the process."

Everything San Diego homeowners ask.

Stamped concrete typically comes in well below the installed price of natural stone or pavers per square foot. Final cost depends on square footage, pattern complexity, color count and site prep. We provide a free quote — no ballpark numbers, no surprises at invoice.
Properly poured and sealed stamped concrete lasts 25+ years in the San Diego climate. We recommend a fresh coat of sealer every two to three years to keep color rich and the surface protected from UV and traffic wear.
Color is locked in with integral color and color hardener so it doesn't peel like paint. Periodic resealing keeps it vibrant. We use proper subgrade prep and saw-cut control joints to manage cracking — fine hairline cracks are normal in any concrete and don't affect performance.
Texture from the stamps already adds traction. For pool decks and any sloped surface we add a non-slip aggregate to the sealer for extra grip when wet — important for kids and bare feet.
Stamped concrete is one continuous slab — no joints to weed, no pavers to shift, and usually a lower installed cost. Pavers can be repaired piece-by-piece if a section gets damaged. Both look great. We'll walk through the trade-offs on your free site visit.
An existing slab can't be re-stamped, but it can be resurfaced with a stamped overlay or transformed with concrete staining and sealing. We'll assess condition on site and recommend the right path for the surface you have.
